Is there a restroom on the boat?
Yes, there is a full WALK-IN restroom on board.
Should I tip the crew?
It is customary to tip your crew and always very appreciated. Our crew are
USCG licensed professionals, and they attend to your needs and safety.
The crew depends on your generosity for their livelihood. Tipping is greatly appreciated!
An 18% gratuity will be added to private charters.
What about bad weather?

Our experienced captain and crew are regularly checking the
weather radar and they will make the final decision on whether to cruise. If your charter / party is canceled due to weather (typically high winds and/or lightning) prior to departure, we will try to reschedule you to a different time, offer you a credit for a future date or a refund may be given. You may also purchase trip insurance at checkout.
What is the unlimited drink package?
The unlimited drink package is an add on to your party that can be purchased when booking or while on board. We offer unlimited beverages
including beer, wine and seltzers. We accept cash or credit cards.
Is the boat wheelchair assessable?
Unfortunately, no, however, we do have an area to store wheelchairs on the dock and seating once on board.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. No hard coolers please. The Salty Mermaid offers a great selection of beer, wine and seltzers. Bottled water is always free to all guests.
Outside food is not permitted.
How do I pay for drinks on board if I don't have a drink package?
We offer alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages on board which can be purchased for cash or credit card.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not permit cancellations or refunds unless trip insurance is purchased per person, which allows cancellations up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellation fees may apply. However, if a trip is canceled due to weather conditions before departure, guests will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule.
If The Salty Mermaid cancels due to our daily charter or special events minimum not met guests will be given a full refund without penalty.
Where do I park?
Valet parking available at the Courtyard Marriott is free for the first two
hours! There may be a fee after two hours. There are also many different
lots and parking garages to park on Clearwater Beach with varying rates

Are guests required to wear life jackets?
No, but The Salty Mermaid Beach Boats, LLC is equipped with emergency
life jackets for all guests on board.
